Who are Asian Land Solutions?

Asian Land Solutions (ALS) is one of the developments of the Sefinor Group which includes S3AG, European Land Solutions (ELS), who are the largest provider of humanitarian mine action solutions in the world. ALS was designed to incorporate international de-mining management experience with the specific requirements (technical, geographical and cultural) of those Asian countries that suffer mine/UXO contamination problem. ALS is committed to ensuring that all of its projects have the highest possible ratio of national staff to expatriates and to ensuring that its expatriates have the best appropriate backgrounds and experience of working in an Asian context. As a matter of policy, ALS also seeks appropriate national partners in the humanitarian de-mining sector. Its partners bring their own invaluable skills and experience operating in the countries concerned. The combination of these relative advantages improves the cont-effectiveness of the project, helps minimize the risk of administrative problems so often suffered by de-mining programs, and therefore in turn minimize the investment risk to the donors or investors in ALS projects. ALS also brings the proven commitment to quality of ELS.
